An average session will include -

• A light warm up, breakfalls (ukemi-waza)
• Groundwork (ne-waza)
• A range of different judo techniques
• Free practice (randori)
• A gentle warm down.

Alexandra Park Judo Club Fee Structure

NEW MEMBERSHIP AND FEE STRUCTURE FROM JAN 2010

All persons participating in Judo must have relevant insurance cover. For beginners we offer a temporary insurance scheme allowing up to 3 months insurance at our club. After 4 weeks of regular attendance, beginners will be expected to join the club as members and apply for a BJC Licence. BJC membership also has full insurance cover allowing members to participate in external judo courses and gradings.

Primary and Junior practice fees are payable on a 10 week fixed term basis. This is optional for seniors. In cases of holidays or prolonged illness, we will pass the missed weeks on, (as we do when the club is closed), so your paid weeks will not be lost. But in general you will be expected to pay the 10-week fees whether you regularly attend or not.

MEMBERSHIP FEES (PRIMARY, JUNIOR AND SENIOR)

NEW APPLICANTS: £60.00
(1st years fee inclusive of BJC Licence and insurance)

RENEWALS: £48.00
(Includes BJC Licence renewal and insurance)

Club membership runs from 1st October to 30th September.

CLUB PRACTICE FEES

PRIMARY AND JUNIOR MEMBERS: must pay for a block booking of £40.00 for 10 weeks for the first practice session. Primary and Junior members attending a second weekly training session will be charged at £4.00 and a third session will be free of charge.

SENIOR MEMBERS: can pay either £40.00 for 10 weeks or £5.00 a session. Senior members attending a second session will be charged £4.00 and the third will be free of charge.

BEGINNERS ATTENDING AS PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS: £5.00 per session.
