Whitehorse Open Championship

Congratulations to everyone who went to the Whitehorse Open Championships today. Alexandra Park Judo Club came away with 3 gold medals (Max Shah, Yasmin Shah and Luke Evans) and 1 bronze (Jamie Gordon). Well done guys, great effort!


GIVE IT A GO!

Alexandra Park Judo Club & Barnet Judo Club, in association with Proactive North London are offering girls/ladies aged 12 an above the opportunity to train for 6 weeks for free.

We are targeting local schools, but this is also open to friends and family, so get in touch if you know of anyone who would be interest.

Ray Stevens Ne-Waza Workshop (July 2011)

Alexandra Park Judo Club joins forces with Barnet Judo

John, Stuart and Racky are very pleased and excited to announce that we will be joining forces with Barnet Judo Club over the next couple of months to create one of London's biggest BJC clubs.

The new structure will give all members the opportunity to train three times a week with access to a wider range of coaches, not to mention more people to practice with.

BJC Contest Rule Changes

After several months of consideration and thought the British Judo Council have made some alterations to the contest rules. In general these are to support the BJC Ippon Judo approach, but some of them are to match general changes that have occurred at the IJF level that we felt the BJC needed to harmonise with.

BJC launches the new 2010 Grading Syllabus

The British Judo Council have released the new Grading Syllabus with the aim of improving the ability of all students and to support a move by the BJC towards much better control and consistency in grading standards across the whole organisation.

New Membership & Fee Structure

Following the merger with Barnet Judo, Alexandra Park Judo Club has adopted a new fee structure to align the clubs.
